Chips & Co. - Marbletown/Let the Wind Blow

I got this 45 from my friend Neil at SOM Records in Washington, DC. Both sides are sureshots, but “Let the Wind Blow” definitely stays in my top five garage tracks of all time, right behind Outcasts – “Loving You”.  Once again, I’m drawn to a track drentched in plate reverb. No wonder the level on effect processers is called wet/dry. This song sounds like it was recorded in a lockeroom.
